At Jonas Sugar Gliders, we understand that not every family interested in one of our sugar gliders lives within convenient driving distance. For this reason, we may offer safe transportation options for families who are unable to collect their sugar glider in person.

The health, safety, and comfort of the sugar glider are our highest priorities throughout the transportation process.

Transportation arrangements are made individually, and we take care to work with appropriate pet-transport providers and approved airline programs when air transportation is available.

Before arranging transportation, we review the available options, including the expected travel time, routing, connections, and any applicable requirements for transporting a sugar glider.

Whenever possible, we prioritize direct routes and shorter travel times to minimize stress and unnecessary handling.

Preparing Your Sugar Glider for Travel

Before transportation, we carefully prepare the sugar glider and its travel carrier with appropriate supplies for the journey.

Depending on the transportation method and applicable carrier requirements, the travel setup may include:

Comfortable bedding or nesting material
A familiar item carrying a familiar scent
Appropriate ventilation and temperature considerations

We also provide the necessary care and feeding information to the person responsible for the sugar glider during transportation.
